Location + Transportation: The Evans School located at 1115 Acoma Street in Denver, CO, across the street from the Denver Art Museum.

  • Parking: There is 2-hour free and metered street parking along the adjacent streets. There is also a public parking garage available one block away next to the Denver Art Museum.

  • Public Transit: Several bus stops are nearby on Broadway, Lincoln, and Bannock, and the Civic Center bus terminal is located 4 blocks away (about a 12 minute walk) from the Evans School. This bus terminal is the first stop for the Free 16th Street Mall Bus, which goes directly to Union Station.

Culture: Flow State is designed to be inclusive and accessible to all skill levels. No previous experience in painting, drawing, yoga or meditation is required. I'm all about creating a safe, joyful space where everyone can feel safe and at home in their bodies. Systems of oppression try to keep us disconnected from our bodies, and my goal is to co-create a practice that helps you resist these systems and reconnect with your Self and each other. This is a LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and disability-friendly environment. Accommodations can be made for anyone who wants to join our community. If registration fees are a barrier, just reach out to me, and we’ll figure something out together. Your presence is what matters most.

Accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp at the gate entry in the middle of the block on Acoma, in between 11th and 12th Avenue (across from The Acoma House). Elevators are located at the north end of the building, and restrooms are located at the end of each hallway on the south end of the building.
